SOURCE: No Audio when I play Blu-Ray discs with Dolby TrueHD

For dolby digital to work you have to have the optical or coax cable hooked up to the reciever ,The HDMI cable is for digital video and audio output but does not support dolby digital out the cable into your reciever , so just turn off the dolby digital on your reciever and you should hear the sound.
here is more info

Dolby TrueHD is an advanced lossless multi-channel audio codec developed by Dolby Laboratories which is intended primarily for high-definition home-entertainment equipment such as Blu-ray Disc. It is the successor to the AC-3 Dolby Digital surround sound codec which was used as the audio standard for DVD discs. In this application, Dolby TrueHD competes with DTS-HD Master Audio, another lossless codec from Digital Theater System.
Dolby TrueHD uses Meridian Lossless Packing (MLP) as its mathematical basis for compressing audio samples. MLP was used on the earlier DVD-Audio format, but details of TrueHD and DVD-Audio differ substantially. A Dolby TrueHD bitstream can carry up to 14 discrete sound channels. Sample depths up to 24 bits/sample and audio sample rates up to 192 kHz are supported. Like the more common legacy codec Dolby Digital, TrueHD bitstreams carry program metadata. Metadata is separate from the coding format and compressed audio samples, but stores relevant information about the audio waveform. For example, dialog normalization and Dynamic range compression are controlled by metadata embedded in the TrueHD bitstream.

SOURCE: I have the following hardware:

Remove the HDMI cable (out) to the speakers from the receiver.
Connect regular speaker wire from the receiver to the speakers.
Of course, remove the (now extra) HDMI cable from the tv.
That will remove the loop.

SOURCE: Marantz SR 7200

It is likely that the PA stage has developed an offset voltage in the output stage. The faulty amplifier channel can be found by progressively disconnecting the collectors of the of the power transistors until the protection fault disappears. Once the faulty channel is found the the cause of the offset has to be traced to the faulty transistor or resistor. Don't forget that if you can smell smoke or burning then there are likely to be components(esp transistors) that have been damaged by the fault.
I had a Luxman unit that destroyed 5 transistors in the output stage that was due to an open .5W resistor in the driver stage.
Good luck.

Marantz SR-7200 reset

This was documented on the Marantz website briefly a year ago and is no longer available. My SR-7200 develops "click/pop" problems and a reset cures it of these issues.

While powered "off," on the front panel, press: A/D + FP +Dimmer (3 buttons) and power the unit on.

This reverts to original (out of box) settings. You then must reprogram input sources, speaker setup, levels and radio stations.

OSD control from receiver

I had the same problem on my 7200 until I realized that the display comes up on the television screen. I carefully followed the set up required from the manual. I got the Manual online at Marantz.com. I have a cable hook up so I connected the video cable out from the box to the Video in source on the 7200 and monitor out to my Television. I then pressed the Amp button to get the remote to Amp mode. I then pressed the OK button that is in the center of the four direction buttons and the menu displayed itself on the screen . I hope this helps. ercble

Marantz sr-7200 no OSD

Press AMP then OK on your remote. If the menue does not appear press 9 on the remote. You must have your monitor connected through composit Monitor Out or S-VHS.
Also check your multiroom settings. Maybe your OSD signal is diverted through to other room. I do not have SR-7200 any more, unfortunately.

Marantz SR 7200 Receiver

DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Board is probably defective or has Poor solder Connection on one of the Ic's on that board. Board cannot be Obtained from Marantz. Must be troubleshot at component Level and requires a very knowledgable tech to repair it. I have done a few of these in the past and usually charge $50 to Evaluate and Give estimate.
