I have a used Sony cdx-f7700 with no remote that is stuck in demo mode. I know the remote will access the menu but I don't have one so Is there any way to turn off the demo mode with the head unit.

you put something in the blue input thing
that puts the stereo in demo mode

Stuck in demo mode

to deactive demo mode press menu on the remote...then w/that screen up push the screen mode little gray button at the top of the remote...note that this will not change anything on the screen...i know weird huh...now type in the numbers 9012 you should now be at a new menu the top opption is demo mode...choose it and then choose on or off...good luck i see this i an old post but i hope it helps someone...

SETTING THE CLOCK IN THE CDX-F7700

press the display button until the time appears on the display (instead of the radio station or cd track). once on the time press and hold the display button and the time should flash. use the sel (aka select) button to jump from hours to minutes.
