SOURCE: I have an older Honda

Well, if you have no spark, and you replaced the spark plug, that leaves two basic posibilities. One is a failure of the ignition module and the other is a failure of the spark plug wire. Of the two, the most likely is the failure of the ignition module.

I hope this helps.

Honda GCV160 engine Pressure Washer. The pull cord locked up.

Question edited for clarity.

You need to remove the pull cod mechanism as if you were replacing it. You will normally find the cord has moved out of its track. it is also possible that the spring broke and locked up.

Hi I have a brand new Victa Mustang with the Honda GCV160 4 stroke. Hve fuelled up, added oil, turned on fuel tap but it won't start. Any ideas?

Has it been sitting? Has the gas been sitting? I'm sure the carb is all clogged and gummed up with stale gas and dried ethanol. Buy a new carb, GCV160 carbs are like $20 shipped on eBay.

Why lawn mower doesn't pull

doesnt pull at all?
possibilities:
badly flooded - turn off fuel, remove sparkplug , drain cylinder, attempt to restart
internal damage/sized - would require dismantling to prove

hard to pull, but does turn over? probably valves way out of adjustment just due to wear.

Choke adjustment

The manual is on this link: http://engines.honda.com/parts-and-support/owners-manuals/GCV160 The manual depends on the serial number. It does not appear to have adjustable choke.

Cable broke on self propelled 7021r. Is this easy to replace?

Here's a diagram of the mower, I not familiar with the Husqvarna lawnmowers but have replaced many cables from other brands of mowers, should be simple with some basic tools.

How do I replace a recoil assembly on lawn mower

Its typically only two or four screws to replace the entire assembly. But I would try to replace only the cord or spring first
