Yes. There are 3 switches TRY ME, OFF, and PLAY

To make the arms move faster, remove all the batteries and the batteries on the remote control.
Buy brand new batteries and insert them in. Turn buzz to TRY ME on his back. Stand him up and turn him OFF for 5 seconds. Then turn him to PLAY and the arm will move faster.

it might be a wire came away from the battery or the circuit board this will stop it from working

check batteries, if that's fine than take it back, it would be faulty

We had the same problem - sound got quieter and quieter until Buzz was mute. My husband gave Buzz a sharp whack on his back where the AAA battery compartment is located and Voila - Buzz is speaking again.

I had the same problem. To fix it I removed all of the new batteries except for the left leg. Turn buzz to Try Me Mode on his back. put the batteries back in. After the batteries are in stand him up and switch him to off for 5 seconds. Then switch him to play mode and he should come to life.
