My doro 612 phone keeps turning itself off after 20 or 3mins and I have to press the red button to power it back on, any advice /

The first thing to do is contact your Phone Service Provider and check that you have a text service in operation and that you have credits available. Also International texting needs authorization on most plans.

if you have no service most cell phones revert to emergency calls only. Check cell phone is validated correctly with network provider

Hi -- I think that I have your answer. First, back up your contacts to the SIM Card, then do a master reset of your phone (settings, security, master reset). When you power back on, your contacts will be restored to your phone. If you haven't changed passwords, the default is 1234. As well you will have to change settings to what you had before the reset. I hope this helps, it helped me.

Perhaps you go back to the shop you just bought the phone and ask to explain? Will be much easier than we try to type over the user manual, you apparently don't want to open and read.
