Black Berry Pearl Black Screen with alternate flashing lights

I have a similar problem. I began having trouble with my phone about 6 days ago after my phone died while talking to someone. The phone wouldnt turn back on after trying to charge the battery. I have reset the phone. It turned on once and the screen was all white. It all of a sudden sounded like Ii was recieving audible message indication. the light flashed red about 9 times in a row over and over. I tried to reset the screen with the holster and with the end call and mute buttons. The screen would turn on and off but wouldnt display anything but white. I pulled the battery and put it back in and it powers on, but now the screen is black. The lights are now flashing red to green to red...so on..
