How do I get my dishwasher control lock to unlock.

How to Reset a KitchenAid KUD101FLSS6 Dishwasher Control Lock

1. Place your finger on the "Energy Saver Dry" touch-sensitive pad on your KitchenAid KUDI01FLSS6 Dishwasher's control panel.
2. Hold your finger in place for at least four seconds until the Control Lock light turns off.

It's probably still in a work cycle. Advance it to the end, or wait for it to finish.

Child Lock Controls
To prevent children from accidently changing the
dishwasher cycle or starting the dishwasher, lock the
dishwasher controls by pressing and releasing the RINSE
ONLY pad (some models) or the NO HEAT DRY pad (some
models) for 3 seconds while the door is latched. An
indicator light on the lock graphic pad will illuminate when
the controls are locked and no new selections can be made
until the lock is released. To unlock the controls, press the
same pad, RINSE ONLY or NO HEAT DRY, again for 2
seoncds until the indicator light goes out.

Hello - Yes, it does have a child lock control. It is design to prevent children from accidently change the dishwasher cycle or starting the dishwasher. It locks the dishwasher controls by pressing and releasing the DELAY TIME icon for 3 seconds. Do you see an indication lock light on your dishwasher illuminate? It will usually appear when the controls are locked and no new selections can be made until the lock is released. To unlock the controls, press the DELAY TIME icon under the indicator light goes out.

If you shut off the breaker in the fuse box for an hour or more it will reset the dishwsher to factory settings, this should fit it for you

Try turning the circuit breaker off for 30 minutes. Then turn back on and see. If it keeps locking you may need new control console. Hope this helps.

If you accidentally pressed "Heated Dry" for 3 seconds and it locked your controls, just press the same button for 3 seconds and it will unlock.

According to my ultra wash dishwasher you have to hold the no heat dry button for 4 seconds and that is how you lock and unlock the control panel
