SOURCE: GE WSM2700DAWWW dryer squeaks

When the felt on the front tub guides wears off it will squeak. It can be replaced by part 1220 and 1221 on this diagram and parts list. Take off the front panel along with the door to access it.

There is a ball and socket bearing at the back of the drum but it doesn't usually go bad. If you need to get to it, go in from the rear of the dryer behind the heat coils. 1212 is the bearing housing.

Wsm2700dawww dryer will spin laundry still wet

Possible that the speed is of the spin is not enough, check the belt , check for friction to the shaft in the washer.
finally check the drain valve /pump as if there is water logged on without flushing then the valve is clogged or dirty.

Have a GE profile dryer...DPSE810EG6WT.......when I push the start button it just beeps and than the lights go out on the time Will not start, but the light settings on time are illuminated help

I currently have a stackable W/D made by GE in my condo. However, the Washer just broke and it would cost $500 to fix it. So the contractor suggested it might be better for me to just purchase a new one....

sears will give you 10% towards your next purchase if you call them out for the repair and decide not to do the repair. but will cost you the trip fee. depending on what is actualy wrong with the unit, every repair person is going to give you their own price. w/a model # and the problem all i can do is educate you on parts costs... hope this helps

check all the connections on the back of the dryer, if a few screws are loose, that could be the problem.....now the other thing....it might need a new motor. Unplug it before checking it out!!

Clean out your vent hose and the outside of the Vent to prevent fires.
