My mower shows no electrical power at all, the hours display gauge is blank, does not try to crank or start. Battery is good, tried to jump from car and still no electrical power is indicated.
Try pouring gasoline, about a pint, into the engine via oil check port. Should loosen stuck valves.
might have to jump start the first time.
than add another half pint of barr engine sealer. Let it run for an hour.
On most of the late model lawn tractors there is a 20 amp fuse underneath the dash, it should be a blade type fuse like you would find in cars. Replace that and you should be good to go...

YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE SOLENOID IT IS SHORTING OUT AS TO THE GAUGE THEY WILL NEVER MOVE AS THE GENERATOR CHARGES ONLY WHEN THE BATTERY HITS 9 VOLTS THEN IT ACTIVATES TO CHARGE BACK TO 12 VOLTS BUT IN SMALL INCREMENTS

It sounds like your charge system is not working. If you jump the battery the engine will run with a weak battery but the pto clutch needs a strong battery to stay engaged.Try this to test it,after you jump it leav the jumper cables hooked up and try to engage the blade clutch,if it runs it is either a battery that wont take a charge or a charge system not working. If you put a volt meter on the battery while the engine is running and the voltage is 13 volts the charge system is working and the battery is bad.

Hi, W/D here.
Check the battery terminals for corrosion, and make sure that the connections are shiny, bright and tight. Follow the cables from the battery, and disconnect and clean each terminal as needed. Check the voltage in the battery as it sits. If you do not have a volt meter, any auto parts store can check it for you. They can also put a load test on it to determine if the battery is capable of taking a charge. It sounds like you had just enough battery to start the mower, but not enough to sustain it, but the problem may be elsewhere. You cannot move further until the battery is proven good, or replaced.
Provided that you have a good battery and all connections are secured and cleaned, with the key on, try to bypass the solenoid with a heavy insulated wire jumper between the large terminals. If the starter turns over, the solenoid or the start switch is bad. You can test the start switch for continuity with a meter, or a cheap automotive tester.
If all of the above checks out, the problem lies in the charging system.
Best regards, and please post back with your findings, --W/D--

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. I am looking for your service manual but beed to know if your mower has a number on in ending in 3300, 3301, 3302, 3303 or 3304. An example of the number I need would be like this: 96043003300 The 3300 series numbers above are just the first 5 of 10 models.
There are 10 different service manuals for this mower and my best guess is the model number is something like this: YTH20K46
I think you have a blown 30 Amp fuse but need to find the location in the manual so I can pass that to you.
There is the possibility that the engine alternator has also failed also but, you said the LED was blank and the mower does nothing so that in itself points to a fuse / wiring issue.
From what I can tell the fuse is a flat bayonet type fuse and should be located on the left side of the mower about 6 inches in front of the mower deck looking from the top. I just can not tell what elevation the fuse is at. This fuse is in the circuit between the battery and the Amp meter. A second look for the fuse and it appears to be in the exact area even with the left foot pedal. Look in that area vertically for the fuse.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kely
