Blood stain on my pants

Blood stains are considered to be organic stains because they contain proteins. Protein is the building block for nearly every living thing on the planet, but it's also what makes removing a blood stain difficult. Proteins react chemically and bind to one another; typically, you can't remove blood stains completely using traditional stain lifting methods. To remove blood stains from clothing, avoid exposing the garment to heat or hot water. Opt for using a natural enzyme to lift the stain instead of using bleach, or other chemical stain lifters.

How can I remove coffee stains from a shirt?

To ensure the best results, you should treat the stain immediately. Begin by rinsing the stained area under cold water. If the stain is still there, try rubbing a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and water into the stain. Allow this to sit for about 5 minutes before washing.

How do I remove the tooth paste from the sofa

First look at the cleaning label for cleaning instructions. I am assuming this is cloth and toothpaste is generally a non-greasy type stain. I have listed some mixtures that may work

Use cold water for non-grease based stains.
Mix 2 teaspoons of mild detergent with 1/2 cup cool water, whip in froth and apply. Apply with care and test an area.

then add some soda water. You can just start with the soda water. It won't hurt and I think it is quicker.

If these don't work, call a dry cleaner and ask for advice. Toothpaste is a "soap" so it might not be too difficult. Easy for me to say...right...

Finally, I HIGHLY recommend that you obtain book I use ALL the time. "Haley's cleaning hints." or some other book of this type. It has been a life saver for me over the years-

Example: hairspray can help remove lipstick stains..whoda thunk it!

Best of Luck

WILL WASHING MACHINE WORK WITH ONLY A COLD WATER SUPPLY

Yes, any machine should work with just a cold water supply. The internal heating element will bring water up to the required temperature.

Most machines sold today have only cold water fill, as that is better for removing stains - putting hot water onto a stain will set it rather than remove it.

Yellow stains after machine washing

Sounds like rust stains, coming off the inside of the drum, you will need to find the source of the rust. Maybe a loose screw or something metal stuck inside the drum. Carefully run your hand around the inside of the drum and check for rough jagged edges to identify anything that should not be in there.
