Good Afternoon Rob,

I understand your Frigidaire washer, model# FAHE4044mw0, shakes in the spin cycle, even after making sure your appliance is leveled. I also see that this occurs with small loads. Please make sure that your load is evenly distributed. If not, stop your washer and redistribute the load. Also make sure that the load is not too small. Try adding 1 or 2 similar items to even out the load. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

SOURCE: kenmore washer shakes violently during spin cycle

syrny,

Not sure what you did, exactly. First, does the machine shake when spun empty...and then with water only? If so, you have probably failed to tighten something or misaligned something. Go over your work.

No shakes? Rearrange your load. You may have a pair of heavy wet jeans which is throwing the whole thing out of kilter. It only takes about a half pound of sodden clothing to do this.

SOURCE: kenmore washer series 70 shakes wildly during spin during cycle

I have the same kenmore and have experience this before. It is unbalanced. Get a spirit level to check for balance. To rebalance, empty the washer (so it's not heavy), lean over the washer and grab the back, tilt it forward and the auto balancing legs should reposition themselves. Re-check for balance using the spirit level. If still out, adjust the front feet of the washer by screwing the legs up or down (using a wrench). This will cure the problem (unless you have a very unbalanced load of towels for instance). Good luck

SOURCE: Matag washer Performa shakes badly on spin cycle

Ensure the washer is level by rocking it. If its level should'nt be able to move. You may have a weak floor. to checks this look to see if anything is vibrating around the washer.

SOURCE: HAVE A LG TROMM FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE THAT SHAKES WHEN SI

Front loaders are prone to vibration problems. Don't want to go into the technical details of why, but it's important that they're placed on very solid surface (preferably concrete or tile), and checked that their feet have been adjusted so that the machine is level. Unfortunately, most people don't have a concrete pad for their washer. One simple option to consider is to provide dampening of the vibrations. This can be done very simply as shown here. The main thing to keep in mind with this solution is that it is merely trying to dampen the vibrations. Don't be too forceful in your own solution (think lightly touching the top of a vibrating tuning fork with your finger to stop the tone).

Frigidaire fahe4044mwo shakes in spin cycle

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# FAHE4044MW0, is shaking in the spin cycle. First, please check and make sure that your washer is resting firmly on the ground and does not move if you try to shake it. Secondly, make sure that all shipping bolts have been removed when you installed your appliance. Thirdly, make sure the load is not too small. Add a couple of similar items to even out the load. Lastly, make sure that the wash load is distributed evenly. Stop your washer and rearrange the load if you need to. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Exterior cabnet shakes very bad when in spin cycle ((FWTR445RF

this can happen for a few reasons. the first being overload of the washer with to much wash items, the second being the washer is not sitting level on the floor. u can use a small level and level from side to side and from front to back using the adjusting feet on bottom of washer. also could be that the load of wash is not balanced in the tub. This happens more on a top load washer than a front load. hope this helps

Shakes like crazy spin

Your maytag washer tub and basket assembly sits on a base counter balanced by 6 springs. Is is possible to move the tub around by hand. The best test is to start a spin with the unit empty of cloths, allow the tub to reach speed for a few seconds, lift the lid and check the tub position after it stops, if the tub is off center with the lid opening, re center the tub and run spin again. If your tub returns to an off center stopped position you most likely will need the base kit replaced. The base kit replaces the entire bottom of the unit along with new springs, and snubber, if so packaged per your application. Maytag experienced a defective stamping dye when these bases were stamped, thus they were stamped crooked. This test is performed with the machine it's self relatively level on the floor. If the tub assy leans and favors any one direction while you are trying to center it with the lid open, you may have a rusted or broken counter spring in side the unit. Pleazer Appliance...

The wasing machine shakes badly when in a spin cycle.\r\n970-C45092-00

Hi

First check if the machine is level .Also makes sure you do not have an unbalanced load. Lint filter between the tubs is loose/broken, tub nut and drive block is worn, bad brake, worn spin tub are some various reasons when washer shakes in spin cycle.

Shakes violently during spin cycle from back to

I had this problem with my front loader as well. It is probably the mounts or "level shocks" on the bottom of the unit under the tub. I have a Kenmore by Frigidaire and had to replace the "level shocks". I only paid about $43.00 and was not that hard to put on. Look under your machine and see if the shocks are connected to the tub. Check under the top panel also to see if that particular model has mounts up there too.

The drum shakes violently and is very loud during spin cycle

There are 2 shock absorbers/springs attached to the drum. If one of them breaks it will cause a loud banging noise when you wash heavy loads. This is an easy fix. The part is about $22.00 and it is accessed throught the front bottom panel.

Front load washer shakes violently during spin cycle

On something like this you will need to remove the washer wrap to inspect the suspension springs & base assembly. Please see the link provided for accessing the inside of the washer. Be sure the shipping pins have been removed. The tub should float freely.
