How do i enable popups in SurgeWeb?

Hi, not sure about this app, but if it is web based, I will assume it runs on Safari. Have you enabled popups in Safari? Also, I would try with another browser like Chrome or Firefox. Make sure you are not running any 3 rd party popup blockers!
For future reference, it help us to know a bit more about your Mac, like what OS X is running and Safari version, if it is updated, etc.

Alex

Remove popups on toolbar

The open source web browser Mozilla Firefox features a number of tools for blocking web annoyances that include pop-up ads. By default, the pop-up blocker in Firefox is enabled but if you are still seeing pop-up ads, the tool might have been turned off at some point. You can quickly re-enable the pop-up blocker from the Firefox settings.

Launch Firefox. Select "Firefox," then "Preferences" and then "Preferences." Select the "Content" tab. Check "Block pop-up windows" and then click "Close."

Having a problem with xml.freecause.com expired security certificate, get a "Secure Connection Failed" popup that will not go away.

This is a known bug with toolbars that use freecause.com security certificates. If you click the popup a LOT it does finally let you into the browser, at which point you can just disable the offending toolbar from view and the bug will be gone until the certificate gets updated. Try re-enabling it in a few days and see if it works.

I cant open the pop-up

You might have popup blocker enabled in fire fox or you might also have an additional toolbar that can also block the popup.

For enabling popup in firefox follow the steps below
Click on tools menu
Click on options
In the options window click on content
Now uncheck "Block pop-up windows"
Click on ok

If you are using a toolbar, you will have an option on the toolbar or temporarily you can close the toolbar.

Hi,

What does the popup say?

if its the server, check that your proxy server is allowing the url?
if not, it sounds like you just need to disable enable the popup blocker or add the url to the exlusion urls.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks.
