Try removing the battery for 10 minutes. Press and hold the Enter button for 60 seconds to fully dissipate power in the unit. Re-insert the battery. Then power it up. If that doesn't work, contact your Credit Card Processing Company and tell them you need a new one.

check to see if there is button stuck. it sounds like it is just in need of a quick clean to make sure the buttons are not sticking

You need password reset software to access the sysmode menu1,

Turn off and unplug the Verifone 3750. Wait for five seconds or so and then plug it back in. This will automatically reset the Verifone 3750 and it will reboot and restart.

Reset the shift. Resetting the shift is another reset option available for Omni. Press "Shift," then "#," followed by "1" to reset and change the shift.

Press "Shift," then "#," then "2" to stop a change and keep the shift on the current settings.

unless it's a propietary processor, that's the factory verifone password

The letters and number it is printing is the self test print mode. Normally to run the self test you would turn the printer off, then hold down the feed button, then while holding the feed button, turn the power back on. It sounds like your feed button may be stuck.
