Hand each phone up on the base and it will marry it. If you continue to have no link to base make sure everything is plugged in correctly. If it persists you probably have a defective phone.
this depends on what phone you have. most pjones when you open the back of the battery cover, their is a connect button really small. look around the base for a connect button and press the base connect button first, then the phone. after abit they should connect to each other. plaese let me know if this does not work
Your getting this message because the radio portion of the handset or/and base is not communicating with each other. This can be temporary or fatal. You can try re-registering the handset(s) to the base by following the directions in the manual, its fairly easy to do for any model. If that does not work,and you have more than one handset not working with this problem, then it sounds as if your base needs repair or replacing.
