The ignition came apart while riding. I put it back togather. Now when I turn key, brake lights work but no head lights and no start. any ideas? thanks
if you have a 4 wire ignition then you connected the wrong wires together. Connect the red and black together, that should get your lights and start button working and leave the other two wires seperated, they are to kill the spark. So when you want to shut it down just hold the other two wires together till the engine stops then seperate them again so it will start next time you want it to.
If u mean ignition barel u put it toghether wrong,it is tricky,also can burn wiringand fuses
What ignition are you talking about, the system that fires the spark plug or the key ignition? If its the key switch, you have put it back together wrong or it broke internally and you need a new switch. If this doesn't help. Find a professional.
