Dump the fuel and mix up a fresh batch with some fuel system cleaner in it. You may have a partially blocked fuel passage.

If a system cleaning doesnt work check the fuel lines for damage. Many times the fuel line in the gas tank splits and you only get fuel when the level is above the break!

1st how old is the gas and 2nd how long did it sit for since you last used it? If there was any old fuel left in before now (more than 14 days) than it is possible your carb needs cleaning. If it's less than 14 days then you might want to check the compression. IF you have good compression, then you might want to take it to a service center to have it diagnosed.

Hmmmmm.
Something must have happened.
Back to basics.
Pull plugs, check for hot blue spark.
Plugs wet? Fouled?
If dry and spark then no fuel.
Drain/flush carb.
Change fuel filter.
Think of it as entertainment.

2003 freelander, no spark. Changed cps and checked fuse and relays. Still no spark at plugs. Cranks fine. Ran fine and next day no start. Any help??

Check your distributor, particularly the cap and the wire that goes into the center of the distributor cap. Could be a loose/bad wire or a bad distributor.

The first thing to check is the ignition timing then the spark plug gaps. There are specific settings/size for the above and must be correct for the car to run smoothly.
