Possibly the pressure switch needs to be adjusted to reach a higher pressure. Trace the power cord into a box that also is piped into the pressure line from the compressor. If the pressure works itself back down again, use thread-locker fluid on the adjustment screw to hold it's setting.

This can be a tricky dominoe affect depending whats in the way when you make a complete revolution while turning. Take everything off. If possible screw the pipe into the regulator first, then the pipe and regulator into the tank. If you are not getting the desired postion or alignment when you tighten it, then you will need to apply a few layers of teflon around the thread to achieve proper location.

Did you trip the reset button? It should be there someplace i a spot where you can't see it, just push it till it clicks, make sure the switch is on. Hope this helps.

There may be a reset button on or near the motor. If you see one push it. Also are you sure you have power at the outlet. In most garages built within the last 10 years all the outlets are protected by a GFCI outlet. Power runs through this outlet to all the others. Make sure it has not tripped. If you have voltage at the outlet where the compressor is plugged in and there is no reset button it has an internal breaker that should reset itself after the motor cools off. If it does not then the breaker may be bad or the on/off switch is bad. To make sure nothing is wrong with the connection at the outlet, plug it into another outlet without an extension cord just to make sure.
