Open the drawer and take out the box for the grounds. Run a rinse cycle and it should now go back into place.

Any luck yet.
Jura parts are hard to gain access to in the US. They'll offer to repair it all day long. But sell you parts.....not likely. There are some internet stores online in Europe that you may have to look at to get parts. Good luck and if you find a good store that will ship to the US, please let me know.

SOURCE: Jura Impressa F50 - tray - fault 8

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.

SOURCE: Jura Capresso Impressa S9- no steam

I had a similar problem. I took off the side and rear cover, followed the hose that comes from the steam wand to the rear of hte unit. It enters a solenoid made by ACL Italy. I dismantled the solenoid unit by disconnecting the two hose ends, removing the relay, and unscrewing the plunger unit (vertical pipe). The plunger unit internals should move freely up and down like a piston in a cylinder , powered by a small spring. In my unit, this plunger was calcified and seized. I soaked it in boiling water and pressed on it gently several times and it unstuck. I put it all back together again and presto! Good luck

Jura impressa s8, the display shows" please wait" and doesn't switch to the Coffee Ready.

This error is because:
1- Flow meter is blocked & not sending signal of water flow.

2- Entire hydraulic system is filled with Calcium deposits and slowed down flow of water.
Solution:
1- Open the machine and manually clean flow meter. It is located between the water tank & the pump.
2- Follow this by manually descaling the machine. Seelink. Do not use automatic descaling method suggested by Jura.
Stop using Filter cartridges as the machine reminders for descaling are silenced by use of filters. Services Unlimited Inc Parts Guru Since 1988

How to remove and replace water lid on E8

The hooks in the lid are tricky to remove without breaking. It is best to remove the top cover. To do so you need special key to open the machine. Order the special key from the link below.
Watch the video posted on You tube channel "Parts Guru USA".

Descale the machine every three months using manual descaling.

Dont worry about what that bloke said.
I have just had the same problem - the machine thinks it has a filter in it so take it out and follow the manual to deactivate the filter. You will now be able to rin the descale.

I descaled and the machine keeps coming up with descaling on the display window

Did you descale the machine through the actual menu on the Machine? following the steps in the display window? If so, then it sounds like it needs to be sent in for service.
