Water leaking on freezer shelves no water in ice maker

Stops making ice, and now water is leaking into ice container.

I understand that the ice maker in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS26H5AS, is not making ice and is leaking water onto your freezer shelves. Please make sure that your freezer is cold enough. check to make sure the fill tube is not plugged with ice if it is not then i would guess the valve is shot

SOURCE: Ice Maker Not Making Ice

Ice maker was installed properly, when you put the arm down it doesn't call for water to fill unit. It doesn't make any kind of noises at all. The water is turned on and all plugs are in there are no kinks in the line but when the arm is truned down for it to call for water nothing happens

The is for a frigidaire refrigerator.Ice maker is all new..

You have a bad diode on the water valve connection frigidaire has a kit for this fix..

try forcing the cycle by manually triggering the cycle a few times. Sometimes you can detach the trip arm or turn the tray by hand by disconnecting it from the gear. There may have been a switch bumped to turn it off or the switch somehow jammed. Maybe check for freeze-up. If there is water in it, it's going somewhere.

the icemaker is not making ice,In the bottom of refridegerator you can see some coils and they are iced over bad.

Kenmore Model 78862891 freezer defrost drain keeps freezing up every month.
It can be issue with water valve its clogged and not letting the water to stop running and that is causing the overflow of water and that is getting freezed and then clogged.

Before going to buy any parts directly.

My Whirlpool refridgerator has water in it. Where could it be coming from and how do I fix it.
Water must be getting melting from freezer section/.See if over ice is getting collected in freezer vents and freezer walls.

Check the defrost, if the coils have frost no cold air will circulate. Freezer must be 12 degrees F. for ice maker to work.

Frigidaire, ice on floor of freexer
check to see if the defrost drain is not frozrn over or stopped up
this is the only way that water can get into the freezer
frost could and melt but dont think that i would check the drain at the bottom of the rear freezer panel if you see ice it is stopped up for sure
if all is clear there go to the ice maker, have had some that are overfilling and runnig over the ice maker into the bottom of the freezer

Ice Maker in door of freezer-ref combo.
The ice maker has a float or full detection device that shuts the water off when trays are full. If you are sure this is where the water is coming from, then that's it.

The filter should be before the fridge and should not affect it it sounds like the water valve from the fridge is defective .Other possibility is the icemaker head is defective and needs changing.
