SOURCE: GE washer won't fill with cold water

Cold water pipe had become frozen. FYI this model of washer has a nice feature whereas you can test each component i.e. valves, by setting the timer and reading the LED's on the front panel. Instructions are in the schematic.

SOURCE: Need a manual for G.E.

I forgot to remove the 'moving rod' before running my machine. It makes a lot of noise now. Have I ruined it or can it be fixed?

SOURCE: residue left on clothes from no agitator top load GE washer

Do you use liquid laundry detergent & liquid fabric softener? If you do then this could be the source of the residue that is getting on your clothes. Over a period of time the gummy residue from liquids will accumulate between the tubs. You can clean out the washer with a product called Washer Magic or the unit will need to be disassembled & cleaned thoroughly by hand. Do not let raw liquid detergent or fabric softener come into contact with your clothes.
Also, here is a link to the agitator cap if you should need it.

Samsung washer wa48h7400a. Why doesn’t it fill up enough to cover the clothes?

your model uses jets to wash your clothes. It is not like the old agitator models that required 20 to 30 gals of water. Your model uses far less water.

Clothes get caught

Instructions

1

Remove the lint screen from the GE electric clothes dryer.
2

Roll the lint from the screen with your hand. If the lint screen is clogged with fabric softener, fill a sink with hot water and add 1 to 2 tsp. dish soap.

3

Scrub the lint screen with a soft-bristle brush and soapy water. Rinse the lint screen thoroughly and shake off any excess water. Set the lint screen aside to air dry while you clean the dryer exterior.
4

Dampen a cloth with warm water and wring it out. Wipe over the GE electric dryer exterior to remove any lint, dust or product residue. If the dryer is very dirty, dip the cloth in the soapy water and wipe away any spots.
5

Wipe the GE clothes dryer with a towel to dry. Replace the lint screen when it's completely dry.

Need a manual for G.E. GTWN4950LOWS

I don't know the GTWN4950LOWS. It's not listed among the GE appliances.

If you have the GTWN4950LWS, the manual is here: http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SpecPage&Sku=GTWN4950LWS . The link to the pdf of the use and care manual is on the left hand side of the page under Literature & Manuals.

I hope this helps.
