SOURCE: prints extra blank page for every one page of printed material

hi,

try this

> unplug the usb cable from the computer
> click on "start--> control panel--> printers and faxes"
> select the printer icon associated with your printer and delete it.
> now plug the usb cable to the printer
> wait for few minutes while all the drivers are installed.

thats it... now try to print... it should be resolved

thanks and regards

I had this same issue, are you able to print from the printer's internal test feature?  If so try turning the power off for at least 10 seconds.  This is just at temporary fix I am still looking for a permanent fix that does not involve replacing the printer.

SOURCE: blue streak printing on page

Chances are you have a bad toner. The lines a spaced about the same width as the diameter of the drum on your blue toner. Shack the toner and try again. The toner may also be spilling toner into your printer.

First 30 pages of a print run after 24hrs idle are blank

don't upgrade the xp, it runs a limited version to ensure that the command workstation works ok. A reload is probably in order to start again. Any updates can generally be found on the xerox website, and installed via command workstation

Printing e-mail

It sounds like their emails have a lot of blank space at the end! I would check this be exporting the email & then importing it into, say MS Word. See how many pages Word says there are. If they really are sending 4 or 5 pages worth when all the required stuff is on page 1, I would then take them to task again over it.
