FC stands for "Fan Control" and FE stands for "Fan Error". These codes indicate that there is a problem with the fan control system or the fan itself. You will need to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
"Low capacity thermal lockout"#81. What this tells me is your 1st stage cooling(low capacity) is locked out for 4 he's due to a dirty outdoor coil, weak outdoor fan motor run capacitor, slow outdoor fan motor, overcharged with freon, restricted or short cycling outdoor airflow(overheating), damaged discharge temp switch, faulty outdoor circuit board. That's all the scenarios I can think of for now. Hope this helps!
Was the error preceded by 81:01 or 81:11? That is the format for the actual error on a 500 series plotter. If so then you have a Paper-Axis shutdown. Corrective Action: If this error code appeared but was NOT caused by a paper jam, then try the following: Carriage Belt if it is frayed or worn out, if it is good then Replace the Encoder Disk Assembly.
Hi,
I looked up your model and there is no E5 error code listed in the tech sheet.
Download a copy of your tech sheet here.

When I search the maytag data base this is the service manual it list for your model number.

If the dryer is running but not heating then the relay on the control, ignitor or thermistor are the most likely causes.

Greetings John,
This error is for 81 Z no user profile for pre-process.81 error indicates that a temporary error has occured while testing. If cycling the power does not solve the problem you should replace the formatter board. Also It could be a problem with the power supply or DC controller. There may fluctuating power issues with the formatter. Also did you replace the network card after replacing the formatter or did you use the same network card that was replaced before the formatter was replaced. It may be the new network card may have been damaged by the old formatter and gives the same problem now, and using the damaged network card may have messed up the formatter again. To test this replace both formatter and network card together.
