I forgot my password and I read about this, but can't find the correct steps. Help, please?
Forgot lock pattern on android? Here's a way to reset it.
Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your gmail account username and password.
Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the tablet and double check the
password by logging in to that Google account in a browser on laptop or PC
If you don't have access to the original Gmail account, you will need to do a hard reset and
loose your settings and apps on the Netbook. The data on the memory card will not be wiped
though.
If all else fails...
Come on MOD, its a 281x, it doesnt have a touchscreen, it doesnt have volume controls, and it has no obvious way to hard reset it without being logged into the inferior Windows on it. Should I use it as a door stop or throw it away? I just want to reset the thing, I come here looking for answers that are nearly 2 years old and NOT A SINGLE answer that is acceptable. You guys are bad. Your word filters are bad too.
I totally agree. This should not be to hard of a question to get answer correctly. I mean this is an old outdated mini lap top. It shouldn't be this hard to factory reset. Every method ive found on here is bad information and doesn't work.

Is this password a BIOS password, or the password for the actual OS? In other words, when you turn it on, does it ask for the password right away, or boot to the OS and then get to a log in screen?
I've forgotten my password for my craig CLP281x 7 inch netbook. Its not a tablet, its a mini lap top. Id like to factory reset it but i e tried every method ive fiund with no luck. Can anyone help me.
