If you have lost the remote for your Telefunken 58" TV and you need to remove the lock key, you can try the following steps:
Locate the single button on the TV: Depending on the model of your TV, you may find a button labeled "Menu" or "Settings" on the side or bottom of the TV.
Use the button to access the TV's menu: Press the button to access the TV's on-screen menu. Navigate through the menu using the button to find the "Setup" or "System" options.
Disable the lock key: Look for an option in the setup menu to disable the lock key. The specific steps may vary depending on the TV model and firmware version, but you should be able to find the option to disable the lock using the on-screen menu and the single button.
Confirm the change: Once you have disabled the lock key, you should be able to access all of the TV's functions without being prompted for a password. Confirm that the lock key has been removed by trying to access a restricted function or channel.
If you are unable to disable the lock key using the single button on your TV, you may need to contact Telefunken customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional information or instructions for disabling the lock on your specific TV model.

You are looking for the Status Key on the remote - Using the original TV remote look for an oblong TV screen with a cross in it. Sometimes the i key will remove the display. (normally left of the 0 button)
As far as I know the only way to set lock mode on/off is using the remote. The only thing I can think of is unplugging power cord for five minutes to check if this reset settings.

Hi all you Telefunken TTV-215 owners. My tv did this to. Panasonic in Bloemfontein helped me by phoning Telefunken and getting back to me within 10 minutes. All you have to do is turn your tv on and then press and hold the F button on the remote and while doing this press and hold the MUTE button also. If this doesn't work try olding down the display button on your remote for +- 5 seconds. If still no results try phoning your nearest Panasonic dealer.
