No fuel pressure and no spark

Fuel and spark circuits tend to be separate. A faulty crank and/or cam sensor will stop the spark and injection signal but unlikely, I think, that it will completely stop the fuel pump.

I am wondering if the immobiliser is disengaging?
A friend with a Kia once left his keys on the kitchen microwave with a similar effect. Fortunately the car was almost new and the dealer took pity on him and reprogrammed the system free of charge.

I suggest you check the fuses. There is sometimes several associated with engine management, fuel pump and suchlike.

My 2007 hyundai santa fei has just went completely dead....battery is fine....I've been told it could be a faulty earth but I have checked all earth's and cleaned them and re tightened them?

Completely dead is usually:
a corroded battery cable near the connectors, -cut off corroded end & refasten or replace cable.
a loose or in adequately tightened terminal connector, -replace terminal or cable
bolt off starter motor, -replace or repair bolt.
battery plates out of alignment, -replace battery tray \, hold downs & battery.
A blown fuse is rarely the problem.
Good luck.

We own a 2008 hyundai sonata. Three times now, we have tried to start our car and when inserting the ignition key, it will not turn. We have spent up to 45 minutes trying to get it to turn with no luck....

Start with the basics - I had a car with this exact problem an the solution was simple - corroded battery terminals. Try cleaning them first if that does not get it try to jump start it or check charge the battery as if the terminals were corroded then it may not have gotten good charge from the alternator. If still no joy then look towards starter motor / solenoid for starter.

Can batteries in Remington 5130 Electric Shaver be replaced. I can't find such batteries, but saw where soldering is required, so evidently Remington wants to sell a new shaver rather than a new battery.

Yes you can have the battery replaced. This however needs to be done by an Authorized Service Dealer. To find your nearest dealer in the USA, use the online search function here:

http://www.remingtonproducts.com/ConsumerService/AuthorizedServiceDealers.aspx

If you are in another country, go to the top right of the screen, mouse over the Country and select your country. Look for a tab for the Authorized Service Dealer search function.

Can jump starting the car, blow the computer system?? can using a high voltage battery blow the computer system?? Hyundai trajet 2004 people carrier

Any overcharge situation can corrupt an ECM. Incorrect placement of jumper cables and not grounding properly can definitely damage an ECM (computer) However most people still jump cars like they did before computers.. red to red and black to black.. this is WRONG.. black shoudl be grounded on alternator or car frame. If you did this and didnt ground properly you very well may have corrupted or burnt ECM. If corrupted it may be "reprogrammable" by dealer also called "flashing" if you burned it then it will have to be replaced by dealer as it requires programming to specific VIN of your vehicle.
