Can I set up a Netflix account before I have the device

1:
try to check it from website and see if you can access your account and your content on Netflix Website.

if you don't then go to Number 2 Section. if yes then try the Netflix app from other devices like another mobile device or tv or computer apps

if you have Netflix on other devices:
then check the app or device for connectivity issues maybe VPN or proxy has been set and blocking the Netflix.

you do not have it on other devices either:
maybe your internet modem/router is blocking some ports via its built in firewall or your antivirus/firewall software blocking Netflix ports or...( try to open Netflix port on modem/router settings or ask an expert guy, try to temporary disable the antivirus software or firewall software )

2:
try to call your ISP (internet service provider and ask about the blocking ports or website)
try to call Netflix support for your account and probable account blocking issues

you need to go into your netflix account and add device on a pc the account on the pc has the setting to add devices use the number the device is giving you and place this in the add device on netflix account and the device will load the netflix account and be ready to use.

Netflix Activation with Roku devices

• Make sure that you enter Roku activate devices and also incorporated with the 5.1 audio options.
• These 5.1 audio options are required for streaming of high quality contents.

The only way that I know how you could connect to Netflix is to 1) Have an account 2) Use a device for viewing such as your laptop, phone or Apple TV. You'll want to login to your netflix account a computer, if possible, and go into account settings then go into Netflix ready devices and you can deactivate them for specific devices and then you'll be able to add a new one onto the Wii.
