Sounds like you might have had a failing power supply. By unplugging it you let the unit cool down and that's why it worked again. Plasma tv's always have a little power going to them to help them start faster. Another indicator was yours taking longer to start! Now it seems like it has finally bit the dust. Check online (ebay, google shopping, etc.) for a new one or a used warrantied one. A used might be had for 50 to 100 dollars. Make sure you have the part number as well (usually starts with a B) as there are many diff ones. PS if you don't feel comfy working with the power supply (they can have residual power in them) leave it to a pro. Check out prices for you to buy the part and ask them how much for them to get it. Everyone loves to save money but remember they won't warranty a part YOU buy from somewhere else so don't yell at them if it is bad or fails prematurely! Good luck.

for awhile it just took forever sometimes to come on or I could unplug it from the wall and usually it would come right on there after but now not even red light comes on. its been in the shop to fix the white and grey dot issues by previous owner but now I have it and wont come on anymorer
having trouble rsearching my model. there are several model numbers close o this but seldom see this one. my tv doesnt have lamp light on front it has led, standby/temp & timer. this is dlp tv and is now working but when i turn it off im sure the problem is still there. he said it was after tv was off overnight is when it would not turn on unless he unplugged and sometimes had to many times. to me sounds like a reset issue . so far it has worked for me turning on with remote. longest it took was about a minute. led light blinked sevral times and quit then 15-30 seconds later picture came on. sound comes on right away.
update: this time tv was off for 8hours.first time i turned on with remote green light (led) came on and blinking as normal but when it went out picture did not come on 15-30 sec like it should and red standby/temp came back on. also the light by power button on tv didnt come either. turned off with remote and on again and green light came on blinking and went out and witin 15secs picture came on. also the light by pwer button came on with blinking green light
ok now tv wont come on at all. no lights no nothing. samething it did to a friend of mine but when i took it home to work on it and research it came on when i plugged it in. how can it die then just cme back to life?? hopefully it will again!!!
