How to operat speaker

In most amps the channels are not individually protected by fuses. There is one fuse that protects the whole amp. Check the wiring to all the speakers on the side that has failed and you can also check by switching the wires on the amp from one side to the other to make sure that side has failed.

You may just need to download the realtek audio drivers...see if this helps

You said, other speakers worked fine ono that pc right? And the speakers doesn't on other computers? Then surely the speakers are now defective. It might be the wirings or internal parts of the speaker. Check warranty of the speakers, if it is expired, then you have to replace the speakers.

Check the speakers with any other device. Probably the speakers are not working or if they work fine, connect any other working speaker to your system and check whether if they work or not.
If the other speakers also don't work you probably have a faulty port.

you will need a kenwood remote which has numbers as well as letters above them. just like phone keypad. enter in kcar and then unit will be unlocked

Sounds like you are getting quad sound in the test process that checks them, yet when in windows media player or winamp (or whatever) your rear speakers aren't producing sound: Try setting your sound drivers to do something like "speaker fill" then you are set. I'm under the belief that stereo sounds aren't being matrixed into all 4 speakers.

The manual states (apologies if you have the manual and are already aware of this):-

The indicator should flash for about 5 seconds then stay on steady.
If it continues to flash then the following may be the cause:-

DC voltage appearing in the output.
A short circuit in the speaker wires (or speakers)

(Manual doesn't specify whether speaker open circuit would give this fault. Perhaps try another set of speakers?)


I would add that this might be too low an impedance speaker or incorrect setting of impedance (see the button on the back of the unit). If in doubt set to lowest impedance then if speakers are higher it shouldn't cause harm.
