My Maytag A9700 is leaking from the bottom of the outer tub. I have changed both the tub bearing and the stem seal but it is still leaking - even more than before I started. My question is whether I

If the boot seal was properly seated onto the outer tub lip, then you should focus on the water seal (#39 in the graphic - it should have come with the mounting stem kit) as the source of the leak. Extra care must be used when installing this over the agitator drive shaft - some recommend adding a lubricant (Maytag center seal grease works well) to the shaft before sliding the mounting stem (and water seal) down onto the agitator shaft. Also, check the two sealing surfaces where the top of the boot seal (#40) meets the bottom of the mounting stem (#30). Look for cracks, chips or any bits of debris. Anything that keeps those two surfaces from meeting perfectly will cause a leak. These repairs should go fairly smoothly, but leaking water seals and chipped boot seals can cause problems.

Can you change the outter chip from one epson ink cartridge nx 415

Don't let your ink levels drop below 25% before refilling and resetting your cartridges. There is an inner and an outer chip on these cartridges. The inner chip disables the outer chip when it's contacts are no longer bathed in ink. So, it doesn't matter if you "reset" the outer chip after refilling your empty cartridge because the chip was disabled.
But the outer chip is not available in the market hence refilling has to be done before you have used 75% of the ink. Yes you can replace if and only if its not from a empty cartridge

My Epson NX415 does not recognize refilled and reset cartridges. What can I do about it?

Don't let your ink levels drop below 25% before refilling and resetting your cartridges. There is an inner and an outer chip on these cartridges. The inner chip disables the outer chip when it's contacts are no longer bathed in ink. So, it doesn't matter if you "reset" the outer chip after refilling your empty cartridge because the chip was disabled. I'm really curious how you refilled these cartridges yourself without souring yourself on refilling from the experience. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and I refilled a set of these cartridges when we had replacement chips available (we don't now because our chip distributor was violating Epson patents) and it was an absolute mess, took forever, and the cartridges still didn't work in our test printer.

Don't know where the refill hole is? Epson stylus c120 ink refill

The Epson 68 cartridges cannot be legally refilled at this time. There are two chips that monitor the ink levels. Once the ink gets below 25% the inner chip deactivates the outer chip so it cannot be reset. Any replacement chips you can buy are technically violating patent law. To refill these you would need a chip resetter and always refill it before it gets below 25%. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and I would not recommend refilling these yourself unless you enjoy getting ink everywhere and possibly still not having the cartridge work (btw there is no "refill hole" you make it yourself, thus the messiness).

Thinkjet ink cartridges rejected by epson dx7400 - no matter how many times I try using my chip resetter, which normally works and lets the printer use the remaining ink in the cartridge.

The Epson 69 cartridges have two chips. One on the exterior of the cartridge and one just underneath. You can reset the outer chip before the cartridge is less than 25% full. If it drops below this amount of ink before being reset, the internal chip kills the outer chip. You will need to get a new cartridge or a new chip if this happens.

My DV9205 finaly stoped working after 2 years of strugle. It was booting only once a day, was getting very hot, display had lots of multicolor dots spred all over. Now she is dead.HP in Australia don't wana...

You need to look On the Recall/Extended Service List To See If Your dv9000 Series Is Listed... Go To The Link I Post Below,

Flip Your Laptop Over And Look For Your P/N......
then look on the list from the link I posted and see if Your P/N is listed in the DV9200/DV9300 Section... If it is there... You can send it to them for a free repair/motherboard replacement.... You will first have to contact them either by Live Chat or by Telephone and explain your Symptoms and that you found your model listed under the extended service list of recalled laptops....

If your laptop is Not Listed there... You Do not need to replace the motherboard, You can Reflow the Graphics Chip... You have a Faulty Nvidia Graphics CHip That has failed due to thermal damage...

THis involves complete disassembly of the laptop, removal of the motherboard... You'll need to shield all areas around the video chip.. Use Folded up tin foil... You'll also need to put weight on top of the Video Chip... Use a stack of 8 Quarters and Center them in a stack on the video chip... You will need a Heat Gun...(google it)... They cost about $15 US.... You will need to cover all plastic ports and connectors near the video chip... cover the CPU, cover the RAM slots...(use the foil)....
Turn on the heat gun, Set it to LOW... Hold about 6 inches from the chip and rotate clockwise in circles around the outer edge of the video chip, then concentrate the heat gun on the stack of quarters holding the heat gun about 3 inches from the quarters..Hold for 30 seconds, continue to rotate around the outer edge of the chip, slowly moving the heat gun closer, then pulling it away... (go no closer than 2 inches away from the chip... the whole process takes 3 minutes.... Do not overheat the chip... it's better to underheat it ans to have to re-do the reflow...

The goal is to Remelt the Solder Ball Contacts on the underside of the chip to re-make contact with the contact pads on the motherboard...

Make sure when you are done with this process that you thouroughly Clean the Heatsink anf Fan assembly!! Very Important!! You need to make sure no dust/debris are blocking the heat sink Cooling Fins... And that the fan blades are as well dust/debris free....
Reassemble entire laptop and Power on....
