Easy way: Using the remote control, please press the dvr button (or Return if your DVR remote got no dvr button), then rapidly press Freeze>Alarm>Freeze>Alarm>Freeze Return. Once entered at an average pace the dvr will ask you if you want to load the factory settings. Select ok and all factory settings will be loaded. This will not delete any recorded footage.
Harder way: Remove the power, then open the unit and locate the watch battery on the mainboard. Remove it from the mainboard, wait 2 hours, put it back in, close it up and connect the power back.

You must connect a mouse to the dvr and right click. If you can return it I would, that is a made in China generic dvr that anybody can buy and have their name put on it. Spend a couple hundred bucks more and get a name brand dvr that has a real tech support. I run into similar dvrs all the time under different names and it's the same dvr. The better dvrs are made in Korea, May sound funny but true. All these dvrs that are so low priced are typically junk and will give nothing but headaches. They may last a year or two before the video card, motherboard or hard drive fail. I can buy those dvrs on alibaba.com by the pallet for under $50 with my name on it. We don't do that because we like to keep our customers. Good luck with that.
I'm not familiar with this particular dvr but most of the time the "help" button is still available to click on even though you can't log in. Search "log in" through the help menu and see if they give you default usernames and passwords.
