it might be problem of your's RAM.. plz remove it and clear the dust in RAM slot and fix it... if reappears try to change the RAM.. if u have two RAM s check it one by one...

The hums are probably the fan kicking in to keep it cool.

I would back off the 9500 GT and get the onboard video working first.

I would also suggest that you don't have a good enough PSU for that 9500 card, Corsair memory, and the and the AMD 64 x2 5200.

That could account for the slowing down and occasional blank out. The Extreme 450 is much better suited for a milder, stock system.

For that system I would suggest a GOOD PSU at least 650 and preferably 700 to 750.
