No this is not normal sounds like it has gotten hot a couple times but they are easy and cheap to replace shut off your main breaker at the top of your panel then take the cover off most breaker just snap in you might have to slide it under one side then press till it snaps in onthe other side but some cutler hammer and others have a screw in you hook it in on the back of new breaker and put the screw in the front any way if you need more help i can find a diagram on your brand of breaker and tell you exactly how to do it

Is this considered a single throw switch or a tripple throw switch and what's the difference

We cannot see the product you are asking about
Example single throw switch is household light switch ..., flip the switch either direction and load turns on-off.
Example double pole switch is 240 volt double breaker... flip the breaker and two wires turn on-off.
Example triple pole switch is any 3 phase contactor or 3 phase timer ... flip the switch and three wires turn on-off

Replace belt

  • Disconnect the power source from the dryer. You can unplug from the wall outlet, remove the fuse from the fuse box or flip the breaker in the panel box.

  • 2

Pull off the front panel of the dryer. Remove the screw in each corner at the bottom of the dryer's front panel. Lift up the front panel until the two clips at the top disengage. Remove the two screws that are found beneath it at the corners to remove the cabinet top.

  • 3

Remove the belt by releasing the tension applied by the movable idler pulley wheel. The belt loops over the drum, under the idler pulley wheel and then around the motor's drive pulley.

  • 4

Discard the used belt. It is fine to just throw it in the trash.

  • 5

Install the new belt by pushing in on the idler pulley arm. Make sure the new belt is placed flat along the exterior of the drum.

  • 6

Replace the screws back into the dryer's front panel. Screw them in tightly so that the panel will not fall off or jiggle loose.

  • 7

Reconnect the power source back to your dryer. Either plug it back in or flip the switch in the breaker box.

The pinion nut will not come off this is the front axle is it left hand threaded

I've never seen a left hand thread on a pinion. They are normally very tight. We use a half inch air impact wrench to take them off. An alternative would be to hold the yoke with a large pipe wrench and turn the nut with a socket on a long breaker bar. You can even use a pipe as an extension to the breaker bar

My LG washer powers off completely after running through a cycle. The only way to get it to turn back on is to either unplug it from the wall or flip the breaker. It doesnt seem to be throwing the...

I had the same problem with my LG washer today. I found another post that said to hold down the start pause button 5 seconds, plug back in so you have power, run on drain/spin at highest spin speed. I did it and so far after each load it has not shut down.

Breaker keep flipping offf is this normal. What do I need to do. IIts Hard to flip back on.

No, that's not normal. It could be a problem with the breaker, or (more likely) it's tripping for a legitimate reason --- something's wrong with the wiring or something plugged into the circuit. You should call an electrician, but you can do a little trial and error. If this is the main breaker, then turn some of the branch breakers off to see if you can isolate the conditions under which it occurs.

How to remove the center nut to remove the wheel bearing assembly?

A correct size socket and a good impact wrench. It's on so tight, it's almost impossible to get off by hand. If you had to do it by hand, you'll need a good breaker bar with a piece of pipe slid over it for leverage, but there's a chance the breaker bar would break before the nut came loose.

The timer does not operate. Breaker flipped once. I flipped breaker to reset. It never flipped off again. I try the manual switch to get my pool pump running and nothing happens at all. The lines are...

START YOU VOLTAGE CHECK AT THE BREAKER , IF YOU PUMP IS 230 VOLT THATS WHAT IT SHOULD BE ABOUT 230-240 V . YOU CAN ALSO CHECK IT AT THE TIMER AT THE 2 SCREWS THAT SAY LINE (NO VOLTS ITS A BAD BREAKER) AND THEN CHECK THE 2 SCREWS THAT SAY LOAD WITH THE TIMER ON "MOTOR RUN" (NO VOLTS ITS THE TIMER)

Dryer is flipping breaker after 10 minutes into dry cycle.

You have a weak circuit breaker . Should be a 30 amp or higher . If you have access to an amp meter , split the dryer cord , separating the 3 wires (do not remove the insulation ) . If you have a black round cord ( 4 prong ) , carefully slice into and remove the black insulation in a small portion only . Check the amps on both outer wires while running dryer . Make sure the amps being pulled are lower than the circuit breaker amps . On a black cord , test the black wire and the red wire amps . If the dryer has a short , it would not run for 10 min and then throw breaker . It would be almost imediate . A bad breaker will gradually get hot and then flip , but check the dryer amps anyway to be sure .
