Where is the Black Polygon Mirror Motor in the bizhub c203

NO Load check in the model. just a sensor test

This is Polygon mirror motor problem.
1. Try to turn the main switch off and on.
2. Check the wires.
3. Check the polygon mirror motor PCB connector (bad, loose or broken)
4. Polygon mirror motor no good
5. IPU no good
6. Polygon mirror motor PCB no good

C-255x code at power up.
Solution:
CAUSE: The K (black) IU (C-255C) has failed. The M (Magenta) IU (C-255A), Y (Yellow) IU (C-255B) or C (Cyan) IU (C-2559) is not fully seated or has failed.

After toner installation, C255x code within a few hundred prints.

Description:
C2551, C2553, C2555 or C2557 codes.
Solution:
CAUSE: Toner is not supplied due to abnormal position of coupling.

Normal condition The coupling is blocked by bracket

This problem is usualy related to the laser unit/Polygon mirror motor. Ask your local technician to replace the polygon mirror motor, this part is normally cheap.

this is a polygon mirror motor failure replace the laser unit. to reset the error code open then close the front door while the machine is turned on if the error code comes back the parts will probably have to be replaced

C4154 means that the Black Polygon Mirror Motor is not rotating or spinning as it should.
You can try turning the machine off and on to reset the code and see if it comes back. If so then you will need a service tech to come out and service it. The Polygon Mirrir Motor is a spinning mirror that the laser is bounced off of and is used to write the image to the drum unit.
Here is the info direct from the service manual:

C4154:The polygon motor fails to turn stably even

after the lapse of a given period of time after

activating the polygon motor.

• Motor lock signal detects HIGH for a given

period time consecutively during the polygon
motor is rotating

Polygon motor error
The polygon motor does not reach its operating speed within 10 seconds after the polygon motor on signal, or the lock signal is not detected for more than 200 ms continuously during operation.
Possible Cause
• Polygon mirror motor defective
• Poor connection between the polygon mirror motor driver and the SBCU board
• SBCU board defective

This error is a Polygon motor lock. the polygon motor drives the mirror in the laser unit. You will have to replace the laser unit or the motor/mirror unit.

set the copier on black then go to utility/counter, user settings then set current settings
