Stove and oven not working
IF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
1. Check the fuse in your mains electric box, something may have triggered it to shut off, If off, switch on, if it doesn't stay on, you may have water/moisture in the electrtics (wait a few days, see if it has evaporated, try to switch on again).
2. Most electric ovens have a seperate fuse/switch in the kitchen normally at counter level, check to see switch is on, and fuse is working, sometimes indicated by a red light. You may need to change the fuse in the wall - MAKE SURE THE MAINS ELECTRIC IS TURNED OFF BEFORE DOING SO, BEST TO CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
3. If using a smaller electric oven, i.e. a baby belling, it may come with a plug to connect to the mains, check the fuse.
4. Check for signs of damage in the cable leading to the mains, Best to turn the mains switch off for the cooker before doing so.
IF gas check you have a supply of gas running to the cooker, i.e. at the gas meter/pipe feed if on.
IF none of these work contact your gas / electic supplier for further advice, as dealing with mains electric / gas supplies can be very dangerous.
