Press the automatic mode switch on the upper control board to turn the automatic mode off. This will place the unit into LP operation.

and vice a versa. If you have placed it into automatic mode and it does not switch to electric. This typically means that there is not a good source of electric power. You will need to verify that you have electricity to the outlet behind the refrigerator.

My Ametek blower won't shut off

What model? Is it electric or gas?
If electric, replace the on off switch.
If gas, the run/stop switch is usually just a ground. Odds are there is a broken wire or the switch is not functioning.
If diesel, the fuel shutoff device is not functioning.

Fan will not come on when it's set in auto mode

If your thermostat is being used with an electric heating system and the fan does not start in heating mode on auto; remove the thermostat from the subcase on the wall and check for a switch on the back of the thermostat. A lot of electronic thermostats have a switch on the back that says electric/heat pump and gas/oil. If you have electric heat or heat pump you need to switch it to this side. Usually this is set at the factory for gas/ oil. Gas/oil furnaces have built in means of bringing on the fan and electric/ heat pumps are brought on by the thermostat.

How do I switch my hot water from propane to electric?

If the water heater is dual fuel (elec/LP) and it is manufactured by Suburban you will need to go outside to the access door of the water heater. Once you have opened the access door to the lower left below and behind the gas valve/burner tube you will see a small black switch labeled on/off. Switch that to on for electric operation. and then you may turn off the LP switch located inside the unit. If it is an Atwood then inside the unit you should have a switch panel with two switches, one for LP and the other for electric. The panel may be by itself or the switches may be located on your tank level monitor panel.

Stove and oven not working

IF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
1. Check the fuse in your mains electric box, something may have triggered it to shut off, If off, switch on, if it doesn't stay on, you may have water/moisture in the electrtics (wait a few days, see if it has evaporated, try to switch on again).
2. Most electric ovens have a seperate fuse/switch in the kitchen normally at counter level, check to see switch is on, and fuse is working, sometimes indicated by a red light. You may need to change the fuse in the wall - MAKE SURE THE MAINS ELECTRIC IS TURNED OFF BEFORE DOING SO, BEST TO CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
3. If using a smaller electric oven, i.e. a baby belling, it may come with a plug to connect to the mains, check the fuse.
4. Check for signs of damage in the cable leading to the mains, Best to turn the mains switch off for the cooker before doing so.

IF gas check you have a supply of gas running to the cooker, i.e. at the gas meter/pipe feed if on.

IF none of these work contact your gas / electic supplier for further advice, as dealing with mains electric / gas supplies can be very dangerous.

Electric/gas. Will not get hot on electric setti...

Re: electric setting. Are you sure all switches are on, breaker in panel, any wall switches, plus switch usually at back of water heater where hydro connects as well. If yes, you may have to remove cover where power cable at back is connected (shut off breaker and any switches, and test to be sure power /hydro is off to water heater before removing cover) Are you experienced in this area? If not, it may be smart to get a technician or electrician to test for power from there. There should also be a reset as well in there on thermostat. Thermostat and ECO can be tested as well for continuity while cover off.

As far as gas not shutting off on gas, thermostat and ECO should be tested for proper operation as well as proper positioning. They should be up against the tank in order to work properly,

Our Dometic RM2193 cools on gas but does not work on electric

It could be as simple as a blown fuse at the fridge. Also check to make sure you have turned on the electric switch that allows the fridge to run on AC. Note, you can only operate the fridge on EITHER gas OR electric, but not both sources at the same time, thus, you have to turn off the gas switch before you can run on electric.

When this unit is running on electricity, it has to have the thermostat set for it to run.

Here's a link to the Dometic manual for your model.

http://www.alcovr.com/DATA/MANUEL/DometicRefrigeratorModelsRM2191&RM2193.pdf

Just follow the steps for running on electric and you should be OK.
Hope this helps.

Switching from gas to oven

Your model stove is dual fuel. Which means that the burners on the top of your stove are run using gas, and the bake and broil (and possibly a warming draw) are run using electricity. So if you are cooking on the top of your range you are using gas, and if you cook in the oven you are using electicity
