Hello, Netflix is just for watching movies or series. It is not possible to watch Live TV ( Including local channels) and you should look for another option (service or device).
Sounds like maybe your provider is the cause as some have been known to play havoc with their subscribers as they may be protecting their BIG customers. One cable provider near here has a 700meg per day rule with going over that they throttle your speed. GIVE THEM HELL. You might file a complaint with your States Attorney as well as contacting local news sources and see if anyone else is having the same problem
Few Solutions:
- Connect your PC as an extra monitor and watch Netflix through browser
- Buy Google Cast device and cast Netflix from your mobile device to your TV (Cheapest way)
- Buy a smart TV that has Netflix installed
- Buy a media box (Like Roku), connect it to your TV, install the Netflix app via the Roku channel store
first of all, make sure all your connections are secure and threaded all the way in. Next, go to the main menu and press 5 (configuration) and press 1 (search for channels) if this doesn't work, press 4(signal strength meter) and see how strong your signal is. You may just need to re-position your antennae. If all else fails try system reset(number 5) and repeat search for channels. I've had similiar experiences with mine but I have a 62% signal strength and still get 20-something channels. Hope this helps.
