My brother in law gave his mom a computer thats password protected, she forgot the password, he was killed in Iraq. How can I reset, or clear the bios. Ive tried f8 bout 500 times, pulled it apart and removed CMOS battery.....

On the motherboard, near the battery, you will see one of two things.
You may see three posts with a jumper on them. The jumper would be in the normal mode. You should see, next to one of the end pins writing that states CLR or CMR CMOS. Move the jumper to the that position and wait about 20 seconds. Then move the jumper back to the normal position and you should be good to go.
If there is no set of pins with a jumper, there may be two silver squares on the motherboard (very small) that will say something like CLR or RST. Jumping them with a screwdriver when the computer is disconnected from the power will do the same thing as the jumpers.

So you removed the CMOS battery from the motherboard and the password is still set? That means you will have to go to your manufacturers site and look for manuals and documents. Look in them for resetting the bios password. Most likely you will have to jump the password by shortening out or removing a pin on the motherboard. There should be a label on the motherboard that says PSWD for the bios password jumpers.
