I have a Kenmore Freezer model #25326432100 that went down after a lightning strike. All the lights are coming on so I replaced the relay and overload protector, but the compressor still does not come on and the electronic control board is flashing E. Is there something else that may have been fryed?

No it is not the timer. You may have an open overload protector at the compressor. Check across the overload for a reading with an ohm meter. If it reads zero it is good, if not replace it.

You have a freon leak and the coolant leaked out. Perhaps when you mode it down the stairs one of the coils with the freon in it ruptured a tiny hole.

You need an authorized and certified tech for freon.

the defrost timer may need reseting. when the defrost is on, it cuts power to the compressor so they don't run at the same time. it's usually behind the bottom front grate on the right side. also check the main circuit board. there's a fuse on it.

I noticed that my refrigerator, kenmore freezer, and stove were all not on. This has not ever been a problem before, so I unplugged the surge protector and reset the outlet. I then plugged the refrigerator and the kenmore freezer to the surge protector and I noticed when I plugged the kenmore freezer it just shorted the surge protector. I then just plugged in the refrigerator and oven to the surge protector with no problems. I tried to plug kenmore freezer to other outlet and same result "a short
