The instructions say to enter the link code 1234 and validate, once the Parrot is detected on the cellphone. Enter the code where???... there is no numerical keypad on the Parrot device and the Iphone does not display a keypad either when you are in this pairing mode?????
My iPhone 3G is now connected. Did 3 things:
1. Deleted every existing paired device on the Parrot CK3100.
2. Pressed all 3 buttons at once. Parrot CK3100 screen lit up and buttons lit up after about 5 secs. Turned car engine off. Parrot switched off. Turned car on again.
3. Went to settings, advanced settings, pair device (and also switched on iPhone bluetooth) and tapped Parrot CK3100 on the iPhone screen (which had now appeared) - phone connected.
After about a minute sync iPhone phonebook appeared on Parrot.
Hope this is helpful.
You need to reset the Parrot first.
Hold down red and green buttons together until she tells you that the
memory is being cleared. Then she will prompt you to pair your phone.
Then, and only then does the Parrot allow the iPhone to pair, and it will bring up the code prompt for you on the iPhone.
You won't find this written down anywhere on the Parrot site.
My new iPhone3G wouldn't pair with Parrot [old one would] after I'd been given a new iPhone by Apple. BUT when I deleted all other phones from the Parrot it paired fine. Give it a try.
You need to updat the parrot update tool from the parrot.com website and install new firmware into your ck3100
Si, para borrar los telefonos antiguos apretar la redonda, luego girar y eliminar.
If you tap on the screen, a keypad should come up so that you can complete the pairing process. If not, look for an icon at the bottom of the iPhone to bring up the keypad.
