How do I work the anti log on TI-30X 2s? Where are the buttons?

What you call the antilog is also known as as the power function. More specifically, the inverse of a decimal log is the function 10 to a power, (10^x) It shares the same physical key as the log function. If the calculator has a key marked [LOG] you have to press the [2nd or SHIFT] key followed by the [LOG] key to activate the anti-log.

For natural log (logarithms in base e) the antilog is the exponential function (e^x). It shares the same physical key as the [LN] function.

Not sure how to do logs on the this calculator?

For common logarithm use the LOG key just below the blue 2nd key. For natural logarithm use the LN key just below the LOG key.

In either case, press the appropriate key, then type in the expression whose log you want, then the ) key. Type in whatever else there might be in the total expression, then the ENTER key.

For example, to calculate the natural log of 2:
LN 2 ) ENTER

Is there a log button? if not is there another way

Yes, there is a [LOG] key to calculate decimal logarithms (logs in base 10) it is marked LOG, and another key marked [LN] to calculate the natural logarithms (logs in base e).
You enter a positive number, then press the appropriate log key (LOG or LN) and the result will be displayed.

How to find log on a calculator

Since I do not know what Kenko calculator you have I will remain general.

Locate a key marked log (for common decimal logarithm)
Try the two options. One of them is bound to work
  1. Enter a positive number and press the key marked LOG.
  2. If that does not work, press the LOG key and then enter a positive number. If the calculator displayed log( , with a left parenthesis, insert a right parenthesis before pressing the = key.
To calculate the natural logarithms (LN), look for a key marked with LN and proceed as for the common logarithm. I am sure that the syntax (key sequence) that works for the common log will work for th natural log.

If no key is marked on top of it with LOG or LN, it may be because those markings are ON the body of calculator. In that case the functions are accessed by pressing a key marked SHIFT or 2ND, or 2ndF before the function LOG or LN.

Negative log

Use the log function (common logarithm). See screen capture for markings on key.
83c0b62.jpg
To evaluate the negative of a logarithm
Enter the number (argument) of the logarithm
Press the = key to have it calculated.
While result is still displayed, press the sign change key or (+/-).

Beware that -log(number) is not necessarily a negative value.

Another way to calculate -log is to use the relation
log(1/a)=-log(a) .

Your example

3 [EXP] [(] [+/-] 2 [) ] [LOG][=] [+/-]

[EXP] is the key to enter exponent of a power of 10 :It is a shortcut, so no 10 is entered. Respect the key sequence above.
[ (] left parenthesis to prevent ambiguity due to the negaticve exponent. Just a security.
[)] is the enclosing right parenthesis
[+/-] is the Sign Change key

How to perform log and - log function

To use the log function you press the [LOG] key in the middle of the first row of keys.
To use it.
Enter the number the log of which you want to calculate (must be positive)
Press the [LOG] key
Result is displayed.

Ex log(33.54)
33.54 [LOG] result is 1.5255

Once a logarithm has been calculated, use the [+/-] key, the change sign key located between the [.] and the [=] keys, on the bottom row of keys. You must press the change sign after you have calculated the logarithm.
