US Cellular phones each come with unique SPC/MSL codes. To "unlock" it you must find out the SPC/MSL code and change it to all zeros. After you unlock it, you would then need to install a new prl file that corresponds to your new carrier. Only then can you activate new service with another carrier.
There are Windows programs out there that will let you do this (e.g. CDMA Workshop, DFS, QPST, QXDM).

1. Enter ## and the 6 digit OTKSL
2. SERVICE MENU will appear and 1.Basic will be highlighted

6. Press OK (3 times)
7. Display will return to Service Menu. Press END.
8. Programming is complete

1. Enter ## and type in the 6 digit OTKSL
2. The display will show SVC MENU and 1. Phone Number
3. Press OK
4. Enter the 10 digit MIN and press OK
5. The display will show NAM with Home SID on the second line (Note: SID is no longer used)
6. Press OK
7. The display will return to the SVC MENU
8. Press END to complete the programming

4. At SVC Menu screen press OK
5. Enter MIN and press OK 4 times

Your carrier has the SPC code or another way of master reset for you. Just remember to have your EIN # serial # and all the info behind the battery of your phonr for the tech dept.

You mean the SPC? Try ##621024# to go into service mode.

Sprint is not allowed to give out this information. Trust them when they tell you you don't need it!

Did you try the six Zeros? if you could post or email me the ESN Hex. i might be able to get the SPC code for it. so you could follow telus instruction on programming the phone with them.
Verizon phones could be unlocked via keypad codes. code generators, and via software. Also please post the phone brand and model.
