I am having problems signing into my Twitter account

To create an account:

1. Go to http://twitter.com and find the sign up box, or go directly to https://twitter.com/signup.
2. Enter your full name, email address, and a password.
3. Click Sign up for Twitter.
4. On the next page, you can select a username (usernames are unique identifiers on Twitter) - type your own or choose one we've suggested. We'll tell you if the username you want is available.
5. Double-check your name, email address, password, and username.
6. Click Create my account.You may be asked to complete a Captcha to let us know that you're human.
7. Twitter will send a confirmation email to the address you entered on sign up, click the link in that email to confirm your email address and account.

If you changed your email account, you cant log in.

I would suggest to do the "forgot password" option but that wouldnt really help since you dont have that email address anymore

You need to sign out of their account and then sign in to your account with your own twitter username and password.

Your username is separate from your email address, and was set up when you created your account. If you know your personal URL (twitter.com/myname), then "myname" is your username. But, twitter's login page is smart enough to allow you to log in using EITHER your username or email address.

To deactivate your account:

1. Sign in to your Twitter account on the web.
2. Go to your Account settings and click on Deactivate my account at the bottom of the page.
3. Read the account deactivation information. Click Okay, fine, deactivate account.
4. Enter your password when prompted and verify that you want to deactivate your account.

You can also log into twitter using your twitter username. Once signed in then you can check your account settings and find out your email address.

Hi, if you are sure that it's correct, then try to reset the password, that's the best method to bypass it, sometimes when the twitter server can't hold all the users to access each accounts, in that case you'll see a message telling about the traffic or the capacity....

Open twitter.com, click "Sign In" and again click "Forgot?" on the right of the password box (click here)..

Follow the below steps to delete your account :-

1. Log in to your Twitter account. Enter your username and password on Twitter. See the link in our Resources section that will take your directly to the Website. Signing in will take you to your profile page.
   
2. Locate the "Settings" section. This is located in the top right hand corner of the screen. It is the fourth option from the left. Select "Settings" to go to your account management page.
3. Select the "Delete My Account" button. You'll find this option at the bottom of the account management page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Look to the left hand bottom corner of the screen to select it.
4. Confirm the deletion. You will now reach a different page that asks you to confirm the deletion. Select the "Okay, Fine, Delete My Account" button. Clicking on this will disable your account.
5. Select "Home" to return to the main screen. Your account username and password will no longer work when you attempt to sign in to Twitter.
