Is there a reset button for Frigidaire AEQ7000EGO? Had a power surge/outage and now dryer has no power, although plugged into electrical outlet.

No power/no lights, after power surge/outage. Is there a reset button or fuse that needs to be checked/changed? Is there something else we should check?

I understand you had a power surge at your home, and now your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model#, AEQ7000EGO, has no power. I do see that you have checked to make sure that it is plugged in. I suggest checking the circuit breaker or fuse that the dryer is on. Make sure that the fuse is not blown or the breaker tripped. SOURCE: Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Dryer Won't Power UP

IF you find that you have only a 3 wire feed for this dryer (and the reason for the 3 prong receptacle)...then you can not properly install a 4 prong dryer cord to it. You now have 2 choices....either rewire (assuming that it is a 3 wire supply) the entire run from the dryer breaker to the outlet location with 4 wire (typically a run of 8/3 with ground having a black, red, white and bare ground)and install a 4 prong dryer receptacle to match the configuration of the new dryers cord.....OR - you can remove the 4 wire cord and replace it with a 3 wire cord....re-using the ground strap - IF it is still in place.

EHO message on Electrolux EDP2074PDW dryer

On Electrolux dryers, the EH0 (EHO) error indicates a problem with the incoming voltage at the power supply. This can be due to a problem with the electrical outlet, the power supply or the circuit board.

First unplug the dryer or shut off the circuit breaker. Check if the outlet is working by plugging something else into the outlet and checking if it works. Leave the appliance off for 30 minutes or an hour to see if the error resets. If you recently had a power outage, this might clear an issue from an electrical surge. You may want an electrician to check your wiring.

After that, you will have to check if the power supply is working properly or if the circuit board is getting the incorrect voltage information. There should be an wiring diagram and test sheet tucked into the dryer. It's usually in a space accessed from the back of the dryer. Replace the faulty part. If the dryer is under warranty, contact Electrolux and have them service the problem.

I hope this. The parts diagram is available as a PDF here: https://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/index.php?cPath=64689_77656_94810 .

My unit wont get cold, had power outage and think it needs to be reset. How do u reset compressor or unit?

See this video for the "reset" function of some refrigerators:

How Do Reset My Frigidaire Refrigerator

Said this, I don't mean to "panic" you but if you can't find this "restet" function, your refrigerator suffered a surge effect and might have some electronic cricuir damaged; in best case, some internal security fuse, typical as result of power outage, when power returns.
If you can't find that "reset" call repair service.
By the way, get a surge protector for your refrigerator as soon as possible. See some typica protectors at Amazon, but you can buy one at your local home depot or outlet store.

How to replace the start button on a frigidaire affinity dryer aeq7000ego?

There will be screws along back at the top holding the top panel. Using the appropriate screw head screw driver you will have to get these screws out, lift the top panel slightly and push out towards the front. This should disengage the panel from the notch on the main body and come out. That will get you access to the console.
For an assembly view refer to parts manual you can download from this site

Runs but will not heat. Power outages in area over last few weeks.

If the dryer was running during an outage, even with a very brief flash there usually is a power surge when it comes back on. If everything else seems to work okay it's possible that the heating elements got fried. You can check them with a voltmeter. Also check to seek if the dryer has overlaod protection. Most have a reset. One other thing that could happen, the breaker is defective. That you can check at the back of the dryer where the plug cable attaches to the dryer.

No power on LCD after power outage

First, check whether it is the fuse in the home wiring that is out. You should plug something else into the outlet to see if the outlet is still functioning.
Some electronic equipment has a reset switch (fuse) on the back panel. Others have a special sequence of buttons on the panel that will act as a reset. Check your user manual to see whether your unit has such a switch or reset sequence.
