The running board of my treadmill broke off at the base. We are having it soldered back together, but I want to know how this could happen. I run ******* it and I am under the 250 pound limit. I am only 190 pounds. The unit is 13 years old.

No fix but to replace it. Go to iconservice.com, click replacement parts, enter your full model number (on a decal somewhere on the machine), and you can order it there. If you decide to order and replace it, I can give you some guidance. If you're handy and have tools, you should be able to knock it out.

Easy to do it yourself. Just mark the threads on some of your adjustment bolts.
Google icon service. Go to the parts section put in your model number, it should start with PFTL then some numbers. All your parts are there and prices. NOBODY CAN GET THEM CHEAPER!!!!
