My iron is plugged in and turns on but no heat?

Have you try with lower heat setting?
It seems like it might be thermostat or thermal fuse that is not working properly.

oliso iron turns on when plugged in green light flashes but iron will not heat up

The mostly problem in that case is the internal terminal from cord to iron is loose ,open it and fix the the terminal cord to iron,or go to the nearest shop to repair that.
