Yes, you can. But, you have to download the Kindle App to your tablet first. Go to the Play Store and enter Kindle into the search box. It's free. After downloading you can open the app and log on with your Amazon ID and password. Then it will download and synchronize and you will see all the books in your library. All you have to do is touch a book you want to read on your Samsung and it will download forthwith and when the progress bar goes to all the way to the end you can open it and read it. One caution, The Kindle app limits the same book to three devices only.
This depends on what format they are in (epub, mobi, pdf, html, txt or a range of others) You may need a special reader for that format.
I use a library organizer calibre which contains a converter and a viewer which supposedly allows you to convert books between different formats and to read book in a variety of different formats. You must add the book to calibre to be able to read it. It's free. I have a kindle but that only reads mobi formats, and reading epub books atm so calibre works well for that. I have not used any of the "library" functions so far. I found it quite difficult to learn at first.
