It starts to fill with water then stops but counter continues to count down even thou nothing I happening with a load of clothes and full of water

I understand that your Affinity washer starts to fill with water and stops, while the counter continues counting down. I also see that nothing is happening while this is going on. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at the circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. If you don't hear a click when you close the lid, replace the lid switch.

HI thanks for your question. the problem you are having is with the lid switch, which is located uder the top. replace the lid switch. if you need further assistance . plese get back to me thanks the appliance doc. please rate my answer thanks
Check lid switch. Most will not run with lid open and the switch may not be pressed down when door is closed
