The blue snowflake is for the AC. The 3 fan icons are for low, medium, and high settings. The icon with the cup with over flowing water means empty the water tank. The cup next to the snow flake is the dehumidifier. The cup next to that means tank is empty and the clock is the timer. If the front part is only blowing out hot or warm air I say you got a broken one unfortunately. The back part blows out hot air which is why there is an exhost hose attachment.

Lowering arcticpro temp.

Find in a manual in advanced setup where you can adjust the maximum and minimum cooling and max min heating. Should be a set point that someone set to where it won't go lower than 76

How to get the air conditioner to blow cold air instead of cool air?

Nettie, If you have the dial/switch already set on the coldest setting and only cool, chances are the A/C refrigerant is low and needs recharged. have checked by a good tech. and they can determine if the A/C has a leak or just needs topped up.

A/c blowing hot air with low pressure

The first thing to do would be go to your local auto parts store and buy an air conditioning recharge kit. Provided your vehicle isn't too old, they sell recharge kits that require no tools.

If their is a leak anywhere while you recharge, you will know.

Try recharging the air conditioning first, it is very simple and the kits come with simple instructions.

If there are no leaks, your A\C will blow cold air again. As for the pressure, if it continues to slightly blow air you may be looking at a new air compressor unit or a vaccum line. A new unit will run you anywhere from $200-$2000 dollars plus labor depending on the vehicle.

If the recharge works, at least you will have slightly blowing cold air rather than hot and you can continue that way until the unit fails.

A/c vents not working right

I would make sure you don't have the air blowing out on the floor setting and recirculating. Some vehicles pull air in from floor setting when you set them on recirculate and this causes obvious issues. Might also check your "cabin" air filter, this is different from the engine air filter. Most general repair manuals will tell u where it's located and your local car parts store might also be able to help you find your vehicle's filter location. Your blower fan might also be getting worn out but I would save that for your last check. If the air just isn't cold enough all the time u probably just need to recharge your freon. Hope this helps.

Heater problem, 2 left front vents on dash board are blowing ice cold air + right 2 vents are blowing hot air. is this a possible dial setting/button problem or actual haeater problem. heat was set @...

Most likly this van has seperate controls for driver and passenger heat and ac controls. If its blowing hot air your heat is working. These controls operate differant dampers that are electonicly controlled. If the dials arent working they would cause this problem.

A/C does not work on 2005 Dode GC SXT

well first of all i would keep the fuses under the hood an the relays too, because it seems as though the compressor isn't kicking on. and also check freon level (your local autozone will do this for free) to see if it is low or if your system needs to be recharged.
