Make sure the thermostat is turned to below what the room tempeture is. Make sure that the unit is in the cooling and not just the fan.

Good luck,

Marty

Hi i have a problem with my air con its on heat but it blows cold air and freezes up ???

Is there a dial control to change the heat setting from 1 to 10? Even if you have it on heat, if you turn it to the lowest setting (which is to cool) it would still blow cold air. Turn it up to ten - all the way and see if that solves your problem.

Also check to see if the button that says heat or air is on upside down. Pull it off and turn it over if thats the case.

My problem is when I turn on my air only kick in for a minute of cold air then it shuts down then warm air comes out for five minutes maybe less. my setting are at max cool thermostat at 7. at these...

if it is in the middle of winter that you are doing this it has still got a very slim chance of doing what you want... it is a thermostat afterall which is preset by the manufacturer, take the settings off automatic and turn onto cool only.... atleast that way you will not generate a heating signal
