This ierror will also be present if the joystick is off center when powered up. If you experience these symptoms, you must first make sure there is no physical damage to the joystick preventing it from returning to the center position. When I turn on controller power the speed lights flash slowly. Joystick does nothing and chair is dead. Chair is Pride Jet 3 Ultra.

Do all of the speed lights flash at the same time or do they ripple from left to right? If they ripple from left to right the chair is in lock mode and you can use the unlock procedures from my tips to unlock. If they are all flashing at the same time you have an internal joystick problem and the joystick needs to be replaced Hope this helps

How do I know if my jet 3 ultra is charging? I just bought a used one today and do not have a manual

The chair should have a meter on the rear panel where the 9 pin connector for the joystick plugs into the chair when you plug in the charger cord the meter should move up and the lights on the joystick should flash indicating the charger is plugged in. When the chair is fully charged the meter should read zero or bounce up and down. Hope this helps

On my Ultra Jet 3 th power lights keep flashing?

Count the number of flashes IE 3 flashes a pause then 3 flashes this is a error code and tells the tech what the problem is. Without knowing the number of flashes I cannot help. If you have your owners manual there should be a page for error codes somewhere near the joystick page
