Why does the warning check battery keep coming up

The battery light comes on when the charging system is not operating correctly also .
so check the alternator and wiring from it for defects could also be a slipping drive belt for the alternator

The check gauges warning light means one of the gauges is either below normal or above. Is one of the gauges out of normal range ?

Did they check the alternator too ? The warning light means the alternator is not charging the battery.

Remove and clean and check all connections to battery, then have battery tested, as well as alternator. Be sure belt is in good shape and tension correct as well.

The Battery warning light comes on because the Alternator output voltage has fallen below the voltage (about 12.8 volts DC) required to keep the battery charged, this low Alternator voltage causes the light to come on while this condition is happening. In your case unless the Alternator is tested while the battery warning light is on it will test ok/no problem. The battery itself doesn't turn the light on, only the Alternator malfunctioning. I would think you have a part called a "Diode" failing in the alternator or a wiring issue at the alternator connector(s), either way you need to isolate the problem, it will get worse and you will end up with a no start.

The fact that it show warning battery sign is normal because it appears that there is no input power or the input circuit is not working. Trace from first principle check the input power coming to the ups/ then check the fuse/ the rectifier and so on. I hope this will help.Please let me know

My 04 Ford Focus the battery light keeps coming on & going off, have fitted a new alternator belt but it didn't solve the problem. The battery connections are good. Also the rev counter, speedo & mileage clock keep going haywire when the battery light is on. Do you think it is the alternator? Or is it some other common problem?

The battery is not staying seated tight. This causes the warning and then for the phone to shut off usually.

Take a piece of folded up battery and put it between the battery and the back cover to help the battery stay seated better

Try to reset the handset from handset menu, maybe the eeprom setting for low battery warning threshold have been ereased . Also check ,if the battery is the oregional battery for the phone.
